Lijun Xu joined Western Potash Corporation as the Plant Engineer in May 2021.

Mr. Xu is a mechanical engineer with many years of experience in project design, manufacturing, plant maintenance, and project management. For over seven years, he worked with consulting companies focusing in engineering services of potash mining in Saskatchewan. Mr. Xu’s work included companies such as PCS Allan, Mosaic K2 & Belle Plaine, Agrium, BHP, and others. He was a plant engineer for six and half years at K+S Potash’s Bethune site and performed the engineering design, led projects, supported the maintenance work, conducted the inspection and repairing plans, and developed the pipeline integrity program.

Mr. Xu is a Registered Professional Engineer in APEGS, Saskatchewan. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Southeast University, China and a Master of Science degree from Beijing Science and Technology University, China.
