Adam Walters joined Western Potash Corp. as the HSSE Lead in March 2019, and then was appointed as HSSE manager in 2020.
Mr. Walters is a Health and Safety professional who owns over 20-years of combined experience in operations, supervision, and safety. His past experiences include working in manufacturing and mining. He has worked exclusively in the field of Health and safety for the last 11 years. He spent 5 of those years with K+S Potash where he led safety management system development and implementation at the Bethune Mine. He also spent a year and a half with Emergency Response getting the sites response teams built and functional, which included taking a team to the Saskatchewan Mining Association’s (SMA) provincial mine rescue competition where the K+S team won 1st place in both fire, and field practical as well as 1st place overall.
Mr. Walters is a Canadian Registered Safety professional (CRSP). He holds an Occupational Health and Safety certificate from Ryerson University. He is presently working on an Advanced Health and Safety management certificate.
