Alex L. Watson was appointed as Project Sponsor for Western Potash Corp. in April, 2022.

Mr. Watson brings with him several decades of experiences in in project and construction management in a wide variety of sectors including petrochemical, manufacturing, production, and mining related industries. Mr. Watson’s experience includes corporate management, senior project management, senior operational management, construction management, governance and controls, engineering consulting, and management in both union and nonunion environments, with oversight of projects in excess of a billion dollars. His most recent projects include Grassy Mountain Coal Project, CNO 2500 Expansion Project, Lone Star Project, VAULT Programme.

Mr. Watson holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
