Greg Vogelsang is a Professional Geoscientist with 30 years of experience related to Environmental Management and Geoscience at large industrial projects. He is a graduate of the University of Regina (B.Sc. –Geology) and the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (Resource Engineering). Greg spent 7 years with the government of Saskatchewan – Ministry of Economy as a Senior Manager and 15 years as a consulting Geoscientist. He joined Western Potash in 2010 where he successfully led the Milestone Project through the Environmental Assessment Process and was instrumental in identifying and negotiating the agreement with the city of Regina to use treated effluent as the primary water supply for the project.
Greg was elected Vice President of Geoscientists Canada in 2012 and assumed the role of President (2013/2014) in June 2013. He has previously served as Saskatchewan Director to Geoscientists Canada and served two terms on the Council of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
